Compare the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Kickstand Case for Galaxy Z Fold4 and the Unicorn Beetle PRO for S22 Ultra. Find out which rugged case suits your phone's form and your daily needs.
Quick Answer
If you own a Galaxy Z Fold4, the Unicorn Beetle Kickstand Case with built-in kickstand and screen protector is your best match. For Galaxy S22 Ultra users, the Unicorn Beetle PRO offers rugged protection with a built-in screen protector, though it lacks a kickstand.
The Core Difference: Kickstand vs. No Kickstand
The most obvious difference between these two cases is the built-in kickstand. The Unicorn Beetle Kickstand Case for the Z Fold4 includes a kickstand for hands-free viewing, which is especially useful for watching media or video calls on the foldable's large display. The Unicorn Beetle PRO for the S22 Ultra does not have a kickstand, so you'll need a separate stand or holder if you want hands-free use.
Both cases include a built-in screen protector, which is a key feature for keeping your phone's display safe from scratches and minor impacts. Remember that the screen protector is built into the case, so it's not removable without removing the case itself.
Form Factor and Protection Trade-Offs
The Z Fold4 is a foldable phone with a unique hinge and a larger unfolded display, so its case must accommodate that flexibility. The Unicorn Beetle Kickstand Case is designed specifically for this model, ensuring a precise fit around the hinge and screen. The S22 Ultra is a traditional slab phone with a curved edge display, and the Unicorn Beetle PRO is tailored to its exact dimensions.
Both cases offer rugged protection, but the Z Fold4's case likely adds more bulk due to the foldable design. The S22 Ultra's case may be slightly slimmer, but it still provides heavy-duty defense. Consider your daily environment: if you're often outdoors or in demanding conditions, both are strong options; if you prefer a slimmer profile, the S22 Ultra's case might be more comfortable.
Trade-Offs at a Glance
- Kickstand vs. No Kickstand: The Z Fold4 case includes a kickstand for hands-free viewing; the S22 Ultra case does not. If you frequently watch media or need hands-free use, the kickstand is a major advantage. If you need a kickstand, choose the Z Fold4 case; otherwise, the S22 Ultra case is fine.
- Screen Protector Included: Both cases include a built-in screen protector. This adds defense but means the protector is not removable without removing the case. If you prefer a separate glass screen protector, these built-in options may not suit you.
- Design and Color: The Z Fold4 case comes in Metallic Blue; the S22 Ultra case in Burgundy. Choose based on your style preference and how well the color complements your phone. Consider your personal style and whether the color matches your phone or accessories.
