Dropped my phone on concrete the second day and the corner took the hit without a scratch thanks to that rugged build. The clip swivels smoothly so it sits flush on my belt when I'm working outside.
The belt clip clicks in with a satisfying snap and feels solid enough for a worksite, and the raised lip keeps the screen off flat surfaces. Dropped it on concrete twice already and the phone's flawless, which is all I really ask for.
The hinge cover and raised bezels make me feel way more secure about dropping this thing, and the kickstand is surprisingly sturdy for propping it up to watch videos. I've had it a few weeks now and the black finish still looks clean, no scratches.
